ROTARY CLUB DONATION
Thank you to the Braintree Rotary Club, who donated a thesaurus to every member of South's 5th grade class on Wednesday! It was great to hear about the good works being conducted by Rotary International and our local club, and the visiting Rotarians had inspiring words for our Bulldogs about how they can contribute to their community.
SOUTH PTO
- South PTO met last night; please see the meeting notes in the attached PDF.
- Mark your calendar for 12/10 at 7pm: in the December PTO meeting, we will have a special presentation from the Town's Department of Health on the Youth Risk Behavior Survey, recent trends, and what we can do as a community to help our kids make healthy choices.
- We got a few requests for last-minute South Spirit Wear orders, so Southside Tees reopened the online store until midnight tonight: https://stores.inksoft.com/south_middle_school/shop/home. This is your final chance to buy South Gear before the holidays!
BRAINTREE SEPAC
In addition to each school's PTO, there is a townwide Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SEPAC) to support communication among parents/guardians of neurodiverse students and between families and schools, while also sharing resources about neurodiversity and promoting inclusive school environments. SEPAC meets monthly, usually in Thayer Public Library's Logan Auditorium. Get on their mailing list here--https://subscribepage.io/braintreesepac--and check out their website for more information: https://www.braintreeschools.org/families/sepac
