We hope all our Bulldogs enjoyed the April Break and found opportunities for fun as well as some refreshing relaxation! We have a long week ahead of us, but it's hard to believe that Friday will already be May! This Thursday, April 30, is an early dismissal day for students. Middle schools will dismiss at 11:45 AM.  Student Council is holding a Boston Sports Spirit Day to raise money for students to show their staff appreciation next week during Teacher Appreciation Week!  South PTO is holding a dine-out fundraiser to support the PTO mission at Jake N Joe's this Thursday, 4/30.  On early dismissal days, lunch is not served in school, but students can still access a complimentary lunch by ordering a Grab-N-Go bagged lunch in advance. Don't forget to pick up your lunch at dismissal!

Student Council organized a festive Spirit Week to help pass the last full week of 2025 at South. Let's see your creative holiday spirit, Bulldogs! This Thursday is an early dismissal from school. Breakfast is available free of charge, as it is every day.   Happy New Year! (1.) It's an exciting week for Braintree Schools, as we'll be hosting the candidates for Superintendent of Schools. In particular, I hope some South Bulldogs will attend the Student Forums to ask questions and get to know the candidates. There will be free pizza each night from 5-6 PM for a casual opportunity to get to know the future leader of the school district! We can’t wait to see all our South Bulldogs at school tomorrow morning! Classrooms are being made comfortable and welcoming, teachers are setting up lessons and seating charts, and summer shipments are being distributed across the building. There is a buzz of excitement and eager anticipation throughout South! Student schedules will be viewable on Aspen later today for those who are curious. All student schedules will be provided tomorrow morning during an extended homeroom session.  Students can see their Guidance Counselor for any schedule issues.  At this time, s tudents can find their homeroom on ParentSquare.  5th grade homeroom teachers will meet their students in the Cafeteria tomorrow morning after arrival, to lead students to their classroom.
