We'll see you at East on Wednesday for the annual Soccer Jamboree games against East. The Bulldogs take the pitch at 3:30 PM in "the only game that matters" against their crosstown rival Cougars!
OFM - FRIDAY, 10/24
Friday is OFM, the only schoolwide fundraiser of the year. Don't forget to contribute to keep our extracurricular enrichment programs up & running!
DC RAFFLE
Throughout the rest of this month., students can buy South Experiences raffle tickets to win a chance for some memorable South Experiences. Tickets are on sale in the Cafeteria on Fridays and the drawing will be held on 10/31. Proceeds benefit the 8th Grade DC Trip. Good luck to all the hopeful buyers!

There will be an informational meeting for the Ambassadors Club Tuesday after school in the Media Center. See Ms. Ricci with any questions. If you have another committment tomorrow and cannot attend the info session, you can still become an Ambassador!
TRAFFIC ADVISORY
National Grid is conducting exploratory digging on Peach St as we speak. They will soon begin gas main replacement along the length of Peach St. The company has been working with Braintree DPW who consults with the Superintendent and they have assured us they will do everything they can to limit the impact on South, including weekend work as they approch the school. However, be advised, this monthslong project will likely affect traffic to varying degrees throughout the school year. I will advise families of any disruptions I am made aware of, but the best "defense" will be simply a good habit of leaving early if you drive to school!
