SUPER TUESDAY
Tomorrow is Primary Day and precinct voting will be taking place in our large gym. PE classes will be held in the small gym for the day and voters will be directed to the Gym Entrance so the school day will be able to proceed as normal.

SOUTH PTO
The next meeting of the South PTO will be tomorrow evening at 7pm in the Media Center. The agenda is below & we hope to see you all there!

MIDTERM 3
Tuesday, 3/5 is also the midpoint for term 3. Students should check their grades on Aspen and see their teachers about any missing work or makeups. Teachers will update all grades in Aspen by Tuesday, 3/12.

Thursday, 3/7, at 6:30pm there will be a pre-departure meeting for anyone going on the Washington, DC trip. We will meet in the cafeteria to go over last-minute planning, find out group assignments, etc. The famed cherry blossoms are predicted to be in peak bloom the weekend we're in DC, an added bonus to late-March travel!

NEXT MONDAY - EARLY DISMISSAL
Monday, 3/11, is an Early Release Day. Dismissal will be at 11:45am for middle schools & there will be no afterschool activities. Breakfast will be served as usual, but lunch will not be served in school. Students wanting the free school lunch can pre-order a Grab-&-Go Lunch; please watch for a link to be sent out later this week.

PTO DINE OUT - 3/11 @ CHILI'S
PTO's March Dine Out fundraiser will be held on Monday at Chili's in Braintree. Let them know you're supporting South and a portion of your bill will be sent to the PTO. Take advantage of the early dismissal to treat yourself to a nice lunch, or take the family out to dinner... or both!

Bulldog Bulletin - 6/3/2025

Congratulations to all the students that participated in the Trills and Thrills music festival this past Friday - your hard work and effort paid off! Your playing and love for music impressed one of the adjudicators so much that he wrote an email to our superintendent letting him know how much he appreciated South Middle School’s music program!  7th & 8th grade orchestra won gold and the 7th & 8th grade Band and Concert Choir both earned silver.  This Thursday, 6/5, is the last day for Late Bus this school year. Students can still stay after for extra help, but you’ll need to arrange for a ride home or plan to walk! Homework Lab also ends this Thursday, so if you plan to stay after, you’ll need to make plans with one of your teachers. Don't forget! Bus registration ends next Friday, 6/13.  See the Districtwide post for bus registration information. Please check the Yearbook Sales list posted at your homeroom entrance.  If anyone thinks they purchased a y...
